MONDAY

Objective: Students will understand the consequences of the United States' occupation of Iraq. 

Watch: The Rise of ISIS

Read: The History of ISIS

 

Objective: Students will understand how geographers study 'human geography' through demographic analysis.

Weekly Reading: Chapter 4, Sections 1 & 3,
Chapter 5 (All)

Reading Assignments: Chapter 4, pages 74 (#1,2,3,5,6,7) & 104 (#1,2,3,6) Reviews, Due Thursday

Objective: Students will apply their knowledge of limited government in a project based learning activity.

Finish Xlandia PBL

Objective II: Students will demonstrate their knowledge of limited government concepts.

TUESDAY

Objective: Students will understand how the War on Terror impacted the 2004 and 2008 elections. Students will understand the costs of the military conflict in Iraq.

Objectives: Students will be able to identify major physical features of the United States. Students will be able to identify state capitals of the United States.

Objectives: Students will understand how pre-revolutionary governments shaped the US Constitution. Students will understand the Continental Congress' objectives with the Articles of Confederation.

 

 

WEDNESDAY

Objective: Students will analyze the justifications for War in Iraq and determine whether the 2003 invasion was justified.

US Physical Features Map, Due

Objectives: Students will be able to identify different forms of government globally, and the form of government implemented in the United States.

Objectives: Students will understand and analyze the competing positions for a new constitution at the Constitutional Convention, 1786. Students will analyze the competing views of Presidential Candidates today (Clinton v. Trump)

THURSDAY

Objectives; Students will analyze the ties between the 9/11 terror attack and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Students will understand the origins of Al Qaeda in Afghanistan.
