Objective: Students will understand the United States' relationship with Israel; the Oslo Accords; and the present state of affairs between the United States, Israel, and Palestine. Students will understand the role of NATO; American involvement in the Balkans under President Clinton; and how the Cold War shaped the politics of this region.
