MONDAY

Ronald Reagan Primary Source Activity, Due

Objective: Students will draw conclusions over Ronald Reagan's role in Cold War. Students will understand the origins of American involvement in Afghanistan. Students will understand major events that collapsed the Soviet Union and Communist control of Eastern Europe.

 

Objectives: Students will evaluate the origins and settlements of the Jewish ethnicity throughout Europe.

 

Introduction to Judaism, Due Tuesday

Objectives: Students will prepare a civic service activity in honor of our local veterans. Students will match actions of the president with his/her expressed and implied powers. Students will examine the value and constitutionality of the death penalty.

Objectives: Students will synthesize the 2016 election. Students will understand the impact Ronald Reagan had on the American political system and policies. Students will examine the consequences of "Reaganomics". Students will evaluate electoral college strategy both now and during the election of 1980.

Introduction to Judaism, Due

Objectives: Students will understand the ethinic diversity and division of Eastern Europe. Students will identify major historic events that have shaped the political and cultural geography of Eastern Europe and the Middle East.

Religions of Europe and Western Asia Map, Due Wednesday

Objectives: Students will prepare a civic service activity in honor of our local veterans. Students will match actions of the president with his/her expressed and implied powers. Students will examine the value and constitutionality of the death penalty.

 

 

WEDNESDAY

Objectives: Students will examine the results of the 2016 elections and referendums. Students will conclude their evaluation of the electoral college.

Objectives: Students will finish synthesizing their European migration projects.

Objectives: Students will begin examining the question, "Why the world was ready for Reagan." Students will analyze the character and effectiveness of Jimmy Carter.
