Objective: students will demonstrate their comprehension of Lincoln-Douglas debate style and their comprehension of a topical issue (whether or not nuclear power ought to be prohibited).

Objective: students will understand the course of events taking place during the Iran Hostage Crisis

Objectives: Students will examine a case-study in which synthetic dopamine was used to treat psychiatric patients.

Watch: Awakenings

TUESDAY

Objective: Students will select their next topic issues. Students will begin finding material pertaining to their next debate topic.

5 sources due by the end of class, Thursday.

Objective: Students will be introduced to the origins of the Vietnam War.

Objectives: students will further examine the origins of the Vietnam War and the United States' involvement prior to 1965.

Objectives: Students will reconstruct the major structures of the brain to learn form and function of these regions.

Objective: Students will select their next topic issues. Students will begin finding material pertaining to their next debate topic.

Objectives: Students will understand the role of the Gulf of Tonkin incident and analyze whether military conflict against North Vietnam was justified by this event.

Gulf of Tonkin Incident Questions, Due Friday

Objectives: Students will be introduced the the lobes of the cerebral cortex. They will understand form and major functions of these regions.
