Crofton Hosts Knox County Volleyball Tournament

The Crofton Lady Warriors volleyball team hosted the Knox County Volleyball Tournament this year. On Monday, October 16, the Warriors took down the Wausa Lady Vikings in two sets with scores of 25-11 and 25-19. Danielle Steffen led the match with 6 kills and Josie Sanger led with 12 digs. Mackenzie Foxhoven stated “We had a good night and played together so well which only makes me excited for the upcoming games.” The girls came out for round two ready to go.

On Tuesday, October 17, the Warriors challenged the Creighton Bulldogs in the Knox County Tournament championship game. Crofton won the game in two sets with scores of 25-19 and 25-19. “It was super fun. I love these girls and all they bring to our team. Days like these are why we keep working hard to do what we can do” stated right side hitter Madisen Kube. Josie Sanger led with 22 digs and Madisen Kube led hitting with 8 kills. 

The Lady Warriors start Conference play October 23, 24, and 25 held between Norfolk Catholic and Battle Creek. Sub-districts will be held October 30 and 31 in Wayne.
