Halloween Dance held at City Auditorium

 Story image 1_0

On Saturday, October 21, the Crofton High School Choir held a Halloween dance at the Crofton City Auditorium as a fundraiser for their trip this summer to Denver, Colorado. The dance invited all members of choir, CHS students and teens from surrounding towns to come. They hosted junior high kids from 7-9 and high schoolers from 9-11:30. Choir members came in early to decorate the auditorium and created playlists and decorations prior to the dance for easy set up.

Taylor Schieffer and Ryah Ostermeyer won the costume contest dressed as Dumb and Dumber. A door prize was given to David Phillips for being the closest guess to how many pieces of candy corn were in the jar.

Many attended the dance and they ended up with a great outcome. Parents and students volunteered to help make and serve food at the concessions. The Choir raised over $400 for their trip to Denver. Thank you to everyone who participated, supported our fundraiser and made the dance possible!
