CHS Receives New Technology For Students
This October Crofton High School invested in ten new iPads for students and classroom use. These iPads were purchased because CHS had a need for more devices and to give students more access to technology for learning and school development. “I think iPads are easy to use and are cost effective. In a school setting they are effective tools for learning and creating,” stated Superintendent Corey Dahl.
Apple education features over 80,000 apps designed especially for iPads that cover many subjects for every grade level and learning style. With the use of downloaded apps and programs, teachers and students will be able to increase their knowledge in their school subjects. “By increasing technology use at the school, our students will leave ready for a future in college or in their career,” said Mr. Dahl.
CHS is still looking into the possibility of purchasing more iPads but that decision has not been made yet. With growing technology in the classroom setting, CHS has the potential to increase educational programs for years to come.
