Warrior Basketball take on the Laurel-Concord- Coleridge Bears
Both the girls and boys basketball teams played Laurel-Concord-Coleridge at Laurel on Friday, December 1st.
The Lady Warriors beat the Lady Bears 67-29. “We played well together and I’m super excited for the rest of the season. It’s going to be a fun year and I’m excited to see where we will go” said senior guard Madisen Kube.
Forward Lacey Sprakel was the Lady Warriors leading scorer with 12 points and Aubree Potts was the second leading scorer with 11 points. Potts stated “From last year to this year it’s nice to see us all working together and improving as one whole group.”
The boys team lost to Laurel-Concord-Coleridge 68-58. “It’s a great thing to see us working together as a team and improving day by day. We will keep working hard together to get some wins along the way” forward Connor Dahl said.
Guard Noah Lancaster was the leading scorer with 15 points and Tyler Janssen followed with 14 points. Senior Noah Lancaster stated “I’m excited to see how the season goes and am ready to keep competing.”
The Warriors will be playing Thursday, December 7th at home against West Boyd and Saturday, December 9th they will be traveling to West Point to play Guardian Angels Central Catholic.
