Crofton High School band students will participate at the Mid-State Honor Band in Wayne, Nebraska, on March 5. Band students will also participate in Kearney, Nebraska, on March 24 for the 32nd Annual Class ‘C’ All-State Honor Band. Mid-State Honor Band will be held at Wayne College while Class ‘C’ All-State Honor Band will be held at Kearney High School. Both honor bands will consist of a day filled with practicing and preparing for a performance open to the public later that night.

Class ‘C’ All-State Honor Band requires an audition sent in from each student wanting to participate. Sydney Tramp, Kelsey Schieffer, Levi Suing, Calvin Schieffer, and Logan Leader will be a part of the Wind Ensemble. Quinn Schieffer, Danielle Steffen, Hope Steffen, Kyle Bramschreiber, Tyler Janssen, Allie Dahl, Valerie Kaiser, and Mikenna Stevens have been selected for the Symphonic Band.
