Mandatory 7th-12th Student AND Parent Meeting
Hello! Please read the following information about this important upcoming meeting.
Mandatory Technology Meeting for 7th-12th Grade Students and Parents
Beginning this August, the Crofton Community School will be providing an iPad for each 7th-12th student as a part of their educational experience and to better prepare them for either college or career after graduation. Each student will be able to take this device home each night and each weekend, only returning the iPad at the end of the school year in May.
To better explain this technology initiative, we will be having two meetings. You are only required to pick one of these meetings, whichever date and time is best for you.
Monday, August 6th @ 6:45 P.M. - High School
Monday, August 13th @ 6:00 P.M. - High School
In order to receive the iPad when school begins, the following must be accomplished:
- Attendance: At least one parent (or legal guardian) and each student must attend one of the two meetings in order to receive their iPad when school begins. The student’s iPads will not be handed out at these meetings.
- Cost: There will be a $25.00 annual cost per year for each student with a $50.00 maximum charge for families with more than two children.
- Paperwork: Each student and parent/guardian must sign the required user agreement.
If you should have any questions or concerns about this mandatory meeting, please call or email the school at your earliest convenience.
