INTRO TO ART

M: MAKE SURE TO ADD ANY EXTRA HOMEWORK FOR THOSE STUDENTS HAVING MORE OVER HE WEEKEND.  WILL  WORK ON PORTRAITS.  DUE FRIDAY

T: WORK ON PORTRAITS AND CRITIQUES.

W: BEGIN TO FIND CARTOON CHARACTERS {2} FOR PEN AND INK STIPPLING DIPTYCH.

TH: WORK ON FIRST CARTOON CHARACTER.  MUST HAVE 2 SECTIONS TO TEAR OUT AND STIPPLE.   HOMEWORK DUE TOMORROW.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     F: WORK ON CARTOON CHARACTERS TORN AND STIPPLED.   HAND IN HOMEWORK TIMES. 

 HONORS ART

M:  HAND IN AND UPDATE ALL ART HOMEWORK FROM OVER THE WEEKEND.   CONTINUE TO WORK ON THE LOVE OF MY LFE OR THE LIFE THAT I LOVE.  REFLECTION/SHADOW/WHO I AM/DIPTYCH RIPPED-INK PROJECT.  THIS IS THE LIST OF  INDEPENDENT STUDY ASSIGNMENTS AS ASSIGNED BY THE ART TEACHER.  THEY ARE DUE AS ASSIGNED.  CHECK WITH TEACHER AS YOU PROGRESS.  STUDIO PROJECT GOAL SHEET SHOULD BE ASSIGNED TO EVERY STUDENT WHO IS IN AN INDIVIDUALIZED PROGRAM OF STUDY. 

T: WORK ON ENTRY LEVEL SHADING PROJECT FROM PACKET.  DUE THURSDAY.   THE LOVE OF MY LIFE OR THE LIFE THAT I LOVE.  SHADOW/REFLECTION PROJECT, WHO I AM , COLORED PENCIL ILLUSTRATION.  TREE WITH WATERCOLOR AND STIPPLING, OR DIPTYCH RIPPED-INK.   DUE AS ASSIGNED. 

W: CONTINUE TO WORK ON SHADOW/REFLECTION / WHO I AM PROJECT/ COLORED PENCIL ILLUSTRATION. SOME STUDENTS ARE FINISHED WITH THIS LESSON.  MAY CRITIQUE AND MOVE ONTO:  COLORED PENCIL/WHO AM I/ YOUR FAVORITE SELFIE.  MAY CHOOSE AND ILLUSTRATE IN MEDIUM OF CHOICE.

THURSDAY: HAND IN ENTRY LEVEL ILLUSTRATION FROM HANDOUT.  WORK ON LOVE OF MY LIFE OR THE LIFE THAT I LOVE.  MEDIUMS WILL BE DISCUSSES WITH THE TEACHER.  WORK ON SHADOW/REFLECTION/WHO I AM PROJECT/COLORED PENCIL ILLUSTRATION AS ASSIGNED.  CHECK WITH TEACHER AS YOU PROGRESS.  CLASS WILL CRITIQUE WORK AS YOU GET FURTHER ALONG ON PROJECT.  MAY WORK ON ANY OF THE ABOVE IDEAS FOR NEXT LESSON.

FRIDAY TURN IN ALL HOMEWORK.   CONTINUE TO WORK ON THE LOVE OF MY LIFE OR THE LIFE THAT I LOVE.   SHADOW/REFLECTION ARTWORK / WHO I AM/ OR COLORED PENCIL.  SOME MAY BE DUE TODAY.  STUDENTS MAY WORK ON IN THE ORDER THEY CHOOSE.   ALL STUDENTS MUST FINISH AND MOVE ONTO CRITIQUING THE PROJECT.  DEPENDING UPON SIZE/DETAIL OF IDEA, STUDENTS WILL HAVE ONE TO TWO WEEKS TO COMPLETE THE ARTWORK.

 8TH  GRADE ART

M:  UPDATE ANY HOMEWORK TIMES.  WILL BE CREATING A TRIPTYCH STIPPLING ASSIGNMENT.  WORK TO FIND 3 CREATURES FROM SHEET.  EACH MUST HAVE A BACKGROUND.   DRAW OUT ALL 3.  CHECK WITH TEACHER AFTER EACH DRAWING IS COMPLETED FOR ANY FURTHER INSTRUCTION.

T:  WORK ON 3 SEPARATE ILLUSTRATIONS OF CREATURES.  WILL BEGIN PRACTICE STIPPLING BEFORE YOU ARE ALLOWED TO STIPPLE ON FINAL COPY.  

W: WORK ON FIRST STIPPLED CREATURE.  

TH:  FINISH 1ST CREATURE.  WORK ON 2ND STIPPLED CREATURE.                                                                 F:  HAND IN HOMEWORK TIME AND CONTINUE TO WORK ON STIPPLING OF CREATURES.   DUE BY MONDAY.
