2nd grade has been learning the importance of detailed writing. After writing PB&J instructions, Ms. Higgins came in to read and follow our steps. There were many giggles as we soon realized the importance of having very detailed steps, otherwise there’s room for confusion!

Today’s High Five Friday was courtesy of the Crofton School Administration! Thank you Johnnie Ostermeyer (High School Principal), Sarah Higgins (Elementary Principal), and Mark Wragge (Superintendent) for spending your time with us this morning. The elementary students were really excited to see Mr. Wragge back in the building! Thanks for the smiles! #WarriorWay #HighFiveFriday

We are one week into the school year, and the elementary students are loving every chance to enjoy recess with their friends—heat and all! It’s wonderful to see them laughing, playing, and reconnecting after the summer. We’ve been working hard in the classroom, and it’s clear they know how to play hard, too! #WarriorWay

Second graders loved getting to learn more about each other on Friday by touring our very own "ME" Museums! Students brought different objects or pictures from home that represent who they are. We learned so much about our classmates! #warriorway

🇺🇸 Our sixth graders are learning more than just academics — they’re learning respect, responsibility, and tradition. Last week they practiced how to properly fold the U.S. flag, an important daily duty they are proudly taking on this year. ❤️🤍💙 #StudentLeadership #WarriorWay #RespectAndResponsibility #FutureLeaders

✨Our sixth graders are getting creative! ✨ The first week they designed their own individualized locker spaces while learning a cool tech skill — removing backgrounds from images. 🖼️🎨 It’s all about blending creativity with technology and making their lockers feel uniquely theirs! 💡🔑 #WarriorWay #StudentCreativity #TechInTheClassroom

High School Open House, Tuesday, August 19
Tomorrow, Tuesday, August 19th, the High School will hold an Open House from 6:00-8:00. Doors will open at 5:30 and the 1st Block presentations will begin at 6:00. Parents are invited to come and go through their student’s schedule. We will run each Block for about 15 minutes, allowing teachers to introduce themselves and provide information on how their class operates. For each Block a parent attends, they will receive a free homework pass for their child. If you have more than one student, and a parent is not able to attend with each child, all children will still receive a free homework pass. Students are not required to attend, but it is highly encouraged. This will run from 6:00-7:20. Then, from 7:20-8:00 is time for parents to meet with teachers individually.
